⚠️ Important Notice Before Requesting Deletion

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleting your account removes your login profile, active shopping cart, saved billing/shipping addresses, and mobile session access. Deletion requests are verified by our customer support desk to ensure account ownership before records are permanently erased.

How to Request Account Deletion

You can request account deletion at any time through our in-app options or through verified customer support channels outside the app:

📱 Option 1: Request from Within the Android App

If you have the BWGameSpot mobile app installed:

1. Open the BWGameSpot app on your Android device.
2. Tap the Account tab in the bottom navigation.
3. Scroll to the APP & STORE section and select Request Account Deletion.
4. Select Submit Request via Email or Submit via WhatsApp Desk to transmit your deletion request with your account details automatically pre-filled.

✉️ Option 2: Request Outside the App via Email (Recommended)

If you do not have the app installed, send an email from the email address registered with your BWGameSpot account:

• Required Information:
  • Your registered account email address
  • Your registered customer name or username
  • Statement: “I request permanent deletion of my BWGameSpot account and associated personal data.”

What Personal Data Is Permanently Deleted

Upon verification, the following records are permanently deleted from our active databases:

Data Retention Exceptions (What Is Retained and Why)

Certain historical data cannot be erased immediately due to statutory, commercial, and regulatory obligations under Indian law:

• ● Retained: Past Tax Invoices & Financial Records: Records of past purchases, statutory GST invoices, and financial transaction entries must be maintained in accordance with applicable Indian commercial, taxation, and accounting regulations for required statutory audit periods.
• ● Retained: Active 1-Year Seller Warranty Records: If you purchased a gaming console (covered by our 1-Year Seller Warranty) or accessories (covered by our 7-Day Replacement Guarantee), hardware serial numbers, purchase dates, and fulfillment records are retained for the duration of the active warranty term to service and validate hardware diagnostic and repair claims.
• ● Retained: Payment Dispute Records: Payment gateway transaction reference IDs are retained for the duration of statutory chargeback and bank dispute windows required by payment providers.
